Research

Research that becomes
practical knowledge.

GCRC research looks at how plants, nutrition and the endocannabinoid system support health. We keep active initiatives, planned studies and published education clearly apart.

Get Balanced® Research Initiative

Consented insight from real experience.

The Get Balanced® Research Initiative is the research relationship between GCRC and Nanobles. It turns structured survey studies into deidentified insight that brands, sponsors and researchers can use.

Participants join with informed consent. Their answers are reported as aggregated, deidentified findings. GCRC's role with the data follows the initiative's agreements and each study's own materials.

  1. Study design

Structured questions built around a clear research aim.

  2. Informed consent

Participants understand the study before they take part.

  3. Participation

Surveys are completed on the Plant Chat® platform.

  4. Reporting

Findings are shared as deidentified, aggregated insight.

Research platform

Plant Chat®

Get Balanced® survey studies run on Plant Chat, a research, education and survey platform for participants, clinicians and researchers.

Consent firstEvery study explains itself before anyone takes part.
Deidentified reportingFindings are shared in aggregate, never as personal records.
Education built inParticipants learn about the ECS as they take part.
How we treat evidence

Reported experience is not clinical evidence.

Both matter. GCRC always says which one it is presenting.

Reported experience

What survey participants tell us

Self reported answers from consenting participants. Useful for spotting patterns, shaping better questions and guiding future research. Not proof that a product works.

Clinical evidence

What controlled studies show

Findings from designed studies with defined methods, controls and review. The standard for claims about safety and efficacy.

Questions

GCRC research, answered.

What research initiatives does GCRC run?

GCRC runs the Phytofood Research Initiative, on hemp nutrition and phyto foods for prevention, and the Get Balanced® Research Initiative with Nanobles, based on structured survey studies.

What is the Get Balanced® Research Initiative?

It is the research relationship between GCRC and Nanobles. It runs consented survey studies on the Plant Chat® platform and reports deidentified, aggregated insight.

Can I take part in a study?

Participant enrollment opens for each study once its materials and consent process are ready. You can ask GCRC to be told when a study opens.

Are survey results the same as clinical evidence?

No. Survey results describe reported experience. Clinical evidence comes from controlled studies. GCRC labels each clearly.
