Rules are changing. Patients are asking.
Federal Schedule III actions and a new federal definition of hemp, which takes effect in two stages on November 12 and December 11, 2026, are reaching clinics and pharmacies. This study measures what healthcare professionals know, how they feel, and where education is needed.

This survey opens soon.
The study is open from November 2, 2026 to March 1, 2027. Please come back when it opens.
Who can take part?
Anyone 18 or older who works, trains or studies in healthcare: physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals, support staff, administrators and students, in any country.
Is the survey anonymous?
Yes. The survey does not ask for your name, contact details or any patient information, and GCRC does not store IP addresses with answers. Results are reported only as combined totals, and groups smaller than five are never shown.
How long does it take?
About 5 minutes. Only consent, role, region and age are required. Every other question can be skipped.
How long is the study open?
The study runs for about four months, from November 2, 2026 to March 1, 2027. Each response records its date, so the results can show how awareness changes as the new hemp rules take effect.
How will the results be used?
GCRC will publish a summary of the combined results on the Research Blog after the study closes, and will use the findings to shape healthcare education. You can leave your email after the survey to receive the summary. Your email is saved separately and is never linked to your answers.
Who runs the study?
The Global Cannabinoid Research Center (GCRC). Questions about the study can be sent to 50kreasons@gmail.com.
