Education and certification

Cannabinoid education
for every audience.

GCRC is turning years of cannabinoid education into structured programs for consumers, industry members, brands, products and healthcare professionals.

Programs are being developed. Register your interest and we will contact you as each one opens.

Where every pathway starts

The endocannabinoid system, in plain language.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a signaling network found throughout the body, including the brain and nervous system.

It is made up of cannabinoid receptors, the body's own cannabinoids and the enzymes that build and break them down. The ECS is still under active research, but it appears to be involved in regulating appetite, pain sensation, mood, memory, immune activity and development, and in how the body responds to cannabis and hemp.

Receptors

Mainly CB1 and CB2, found throughout the nervous system and body.

Endocannabinoids

Signaling molecules the body makes itself.

Enzymes

Build endocannabinoids when needed and break them down after use.

Our standard

Certification is education with structure.

It gives the market a cleaner way to learn before it makes louder claims.

What GCRC education is not. GCRC programs and certificates do not grant medical licensure, are not accredited continuing education unless that status is stated and documented, and do not imply regulatory approval or product efficacy.

Be first to know when programs open.

When will programs open?

Programs open one pathway at a time as the curriculum, eligibility, assessment and review criteria are ready. Everyone who registers interest is told first.

Is the healthcare pathway accredited?

Not at this time. It supports ECS literacy and informed professional discussion. Any accreditation will be stated clearly once it exists.

Can my organization help build a program?

Yes. Choose curriculum or training partner in the form and tell us about your organization.
