What is cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome?
Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) is a condition linked to long term, heavy cannabis use. It causes repeated episodes of severe nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
CHS is often misunderstood, by the people who have it and sometimes by the people around them. Many people with CHS report that hot showers or baths bring temporary relief. Stopping cannabis use is the approach most often described for lasting improvement, and a healthcare professional can confirm a diagnosis and rule out other causes.
Thermonoids® education exists to make these conversations easier and better informed. It supports medical advice and never replaces it.
