CBG: The Mother Of All Cannabinoids (White Paper)

As the world of cannabis users continue to focus on two cannabinoids, THC & CBD, there's been a shift in vision in the cannabis science community on some of the lessor known plant constituents. When it comes to CBG it's by far not a minor cannabinoid like many might have thought or may still believe – that is if they even know what it is. CBGa, the acidic form of this cannabinoid has the super powers in comparison to others – much like a mother has the ability to mold it's child so does CBG when it comes to the creation of major cannabinoids within the plant. 'A 2005 study showed CBG as the metabolic source of the most dominant phytocannabinoids, including CBC, CBD, and THC. Reported the study’s authors, “CBG is the direct precursor of the cannabinoids CBD, THC, and CBC. Plants strongly predominant in CBG have been found in different fibre hemp accessions.”' This has to be one of the most groundbreaking research papers I've ever seen created by the folks at Hemptown USA who explored the intense abilities of this cannabinoid and went into depth into the history of research on it, on other cannabinoids, and exposed information that many of us found to be so fascinating that it's created a buzz of sorts among those that analyze or write research papers on cannabinoid medicine. It's a pleasure to share this information to those that want to know much more about CBG and it's intense medicinal abilities. Of the more than 100 special medicinal molecules produced by the cannabis plant called cannabinoids, few are as unique or important as cannabigerol, or CBG. Unlike its infamous sibling THC, CBG produces no overt psychoactive effect. It does, however, deliver a broad spectrum of health and wellness value. CBG was discovered in 1964 by Raphael Mechoulam and his team at Hebrew University in Israel, the researchers that first isolated and synthesized THC in the same year. The importance of CBG is rooted in the fact that it is the source of several other cannabinoids—including the most common variants, CBD and THC. Some researchers believe that CBG may partially counteract the psychoactive effect of THC (similar to CBD), especially when the latter is consumed in potent doses or by novice consumers.

Please go to Hemptown USA's website where you'll be able to subscribe to receive this White paper and others done by this awesome group led by Executive Director Rod Wolterman along with Michael Townsend as the President and Co-founder. Without a doubt this entity is a leader, or the leader, in current education on CBG.

Click on this link and read the 50 page White Paper now a long with quite a bit of other research that I've yet to read. Hemptown USA is, without a doubt, a huge asset to the world of Cannabinoid Medicine. https://hemptownusa.com/cbg/
